Manchester Route Takes off from Waterford Airport
Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline today (May 22) commenced their inaugural flight on the Manchester route from Waterford Airport. The route will operate four times weekly from the airport.
Graham Doyle, CEO, Waterford Airport, said: “We are delighted to have the Manchester route on offer from Waterford Airport. It is a great city and we know from our experience of the route in the past it is very popular with our passengers.
Together with the Birmingham route offered by Flybe we are thrilled that this route offers our passengers seamless onward connections available with a single transaction booking to Aberdeen, Dusseldorf, Edinburgh, Exeter, Glasgow Intl, Nice, Norwich, Paris CDG and Southhampton.
On the inbound side we are looking forward to welcoming visitors from the northwest of England to the sunny southeast this summer, it is a market of huge potential market for us and particularly with everything on offer for this the year of ‘The Gathering’, there really couldn’t be a more opportunistic time to visit.”
